Twenty-three vocalists qualified for the all-region choir at tryouts on Sept. 28 at Lubbock Cooper High School with a chance to make the pre-area choir. Pre-area auditions will be Nov. 12 at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview.
Sopranos include senior Margarita Maese Carbajal as second chair, junior Jazlynn Holmstrom as sixth chair, sophomore Alyssa Peters as ninth chair, freshman Debbi Giesbrecht as 11th chair. Senior Margarita Leanos was alternate.
Altos include sophomore Chloe Giesbrecht as fifth chair, senior Geydis Cuesta Rodriguez as sixth chair, freshman Sarah Bernal as eighth chair, senior Lliani Lopez as 10th chair and freshman Taberah Georges as 12th chair.
Tenors include junior Zaiden Bergen as first chair, senior Genevieve Neudorf as second chair, freshman Seth Peters as fifth chair, sophomore Logan Lee as seventh chair, sophomore Tristan Flemons as 11th chair and senior Ethan Salazar as 13th chair. Sophomore Isaiah Rempel was alternate.
Basses include senior Garrett Sellers as second chair, junior Ethan Laub as third chair, senior Javy Rodriguez as fourth chair, freshman Jose Gomez as fifth chair, senior Owen Call as sixth chair, freshman Rome Rodriguez as eighth chair, sophomore Jackson Archuleta as 10th chair and senior Danny Tran as 11th chair.
