Nineteen students qualified for all-region band
Nineteen students auditioned and qualified for the Association of Texas Small School Bands All-Region Band on Dec. 12 at Levelland High School.
Eighteen students advanced to area and will audition for the all-state band on Jan. 5.
In flutes, sophomore Paulina Morales Mendoza was seventh chair, and senior All Macias Morales was eighth chair .
In clarinet, sophomore Whitlee Tate was sixth chair, sophomore Marcela Guevara was eleventh chair, sophomore Kaylee Garcia was 13th, and senior Melissa Moore was 14th chair.
In bass clarinet, senior Kaitlin Harrison was second chair, and junior Pancho Peters was fifth chair bass clarinet.
In trumpet, sophomore Royal Carnes was seventh chair trumpet, sophomore Frank Neudorf was ninth chair, and freshman Daniel Carrizales was 14th chair.
In trombone, junior Zachary Guenther was ninth chair, senior Aaron Edwards was eleventh chair trombone, and junior Katy Beth Lashaway was 12th chair .
In baritone, freshman Caleb Stanley was ninth chair baritone.
Sophomore Bryan Wiebe was ninth chair tuba.
In percussion, junior Kolten Sinclair was first chair, sophomore Ember Webb was fourth chair, senior Jude Gomez was ninth chair.
