Four publications combined for 53 awards at Interscholastic League Press Conference statewide competition on May 3-4 at the University of Texas in Austin.

The War Whoop newspaper took an Award of Distinguished Merit overall. Jessenia Balderas took a Tops in Texas for the best sports action photo in the state of Texas middle school through 6A.
