The speech team took second place in its last qualifier in Snyder on Jan. 25. The team only had six members at the meet.

  In duet acting, juniors Natasha Fehr and Sky Reyes took first, while juniors Alayna Amen and Moises Ybaben Burciaga took third.

  In prose interpretation, N. Fehr was first, Reyes was second, Amen was third, sophomore Michael Fehr took fourth, and senior Jaicen Clark was fifth.

  In poetry interpretation, Ybaben Burciaga was third.

  In dramatic interpretation, Amen took first, N. Fehr was second, Ybaben Burciaga was fifth, while M. Fehr took sixth.

  In humorous interpretation, Reyes was second.

  In foreign extemporaneous speaking, Amen was first, while M. Fehr took fifth.

  N. Fehr was selected as the outstanding interper.

  Amen, N. Fehr and Reyes all qualified for the Texas Forensics Association state competition in March.
