Eleven band members qualified for the all-region jazz band on Sept. 18.

  In the top band, trumpets sophomore trumpets Royal Carnes and Frank Neudorf were first and fifth chairs respectively. Junior trombone Katy Beth Lashaway took second chair while senior trombone Aaron Edwards was third chair.

  In the second band, sophomore guitarist Seth Barrientes was first chair. On trumpet, freshman Daniel Carizales was first chari, freshman Alex Wootton was second and freshman Logan Jennings took third. Sophomore trombone Angel Perez took fourth chair. In percussion junior Kolten Sinclair took first chair, and sophomore Ember Webb was second chair. Sophomore saxophone Whitlee Tate took first chair.
