District 2-4A coaches select all-district football team

Eleven Indians were selected for the all-district football team including senior quarterback Brett Hicks as offensive MVP.

Monahans’s Seth Hogan was MVP.

Sweetwater’s Kiante McCoy was defensive MVP.

Monahans Jace McKee was offensive lineman of the year, while Greenwoods Brian Ramos and Monanahs’s Ronin Williams were co-defensive linemen of the year. Sweetwater’s Kobe Clark was newcomer of the year.

Coaching staff of the year went to Monahans.

District coaches gave senior linebacker Jarryd Karr as one of seven who received “Ironman” awards. Others included David Birdwell of Monahans, Tate Rainey of Sweetwater, Ben Brockman of Greenwood, Justin Rayos of Pecos, Ivan Pena of Fort Stockton and Jaleel Edwards of Lamesa.
