Eighteen choir members were selected for the all-region choir during tryouts on Oct. 8 at Cooper High School in Woodrow.

They will be eligible to audition for the all-area choir on Nov. 15 in Lubbock as well as perform in the all-region clinic and concert on Nov. 12.

Soprano 1 qualifiers include: junior Lori Wilson-sixth chair and senior Debbie Froese-seventh chair.

Soprano 2 qualifiers include: junior Courtney Blair-second chair, junior Abigail Wolf-third chair and freshman Erin Lentz-eighth chair.

Alto 1 qualifiers include: junior Jamie Philipp-fourth chair and sophomore Abigail Avitia Lopez-third chair.

Alto 2 qualifiers include: junior Isabel Acosta-third chair and freshman Hailey Blair-fifth chair.

Tenor 1 qualifiers include: senior Alex Handyman-second chair and sophomore Seth Allain-seventh chair.

Tenor 2 qualifiers include: senior Morgan Davidson-fifth chair.

Bass 1 qualifiers include: sophomore Marc Barrickulow-third chair, sophomore Josh Ramirez-fifth chair, freshman Garrett Currie-seventh chair and sophomore Jesus Bustamante-eighth chair.

Bass 2 qualifiers include: sophomore Austin Shortes-second chair.
