Twenty-one SkillsUSA members from auto mechanics, career prep, cosmetology and industrial arts qualified for state competition in 12 events to be held in March in Corpus Christi.

In addition to the qualifying contests, the SkillsUSA chapter will construct a lighthouse out of donated cans in the Canstruction competition to benefit the Corpus Christi food bank.
